This agreement is between you and Itay Lavi, sole trader (Israel), trading as Session Bud ("we", "us", "our").
Session Bud is licensed, not sold. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use the software on up to two computers at a time that you own or control (for example a desktop and a laptop). Activating on a third computer replaces the one you used least recently; such replacements are allowed up to twice per calendar year via the built-in activation screen.
Free trial. A trial serial grants the same license for 14 days from the moment you first enter it, on one computer only and at no charge. When the trial ends the software switches to listen-only mode (your sessions open and play, nothing else) until a purchased serial is entered. One trial per person and per computer.
The software requires a license key and periodically verifies it against our activation server. If verification cannot complete, the software continues to work for a grace period before requiring reactivation.
If we permanently discontinue the activation service, we will make a free offline activation available to every sold license, so licensed installations keep working without our servers.
The license includes the full feature set and all software updates in the 1.x version series. Third-party VST plugins are not included; the software hosts plugins you have licensed separately from their vendors. ARIA features require your own OpenAI API key; OpenAI usage is billed to you directly by OpenAI under its own terms.
Everything you record, import, or create with Session Bud is yours. We claim no rights over your audio, projects, or exports.
You are responsible for holding the rights to any material you import or process, and for using Session Bud only with content you own or are licensed to use.
The software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Always keep backups of your projects.
Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Nothing in it takes away rights consumer law gives you that cannot be waived by contract.
Refunds are governed by the refund policy. On refund or material breach of this agreement, the license is revoked and the software must be uninstalled.
