Audio and MIDI, groups and FX buses, full routing, automation on everything.
A complete recording studio for Windows
The DAW you talk to.
Record, edit and mix with a full-featured digital audio workstation — a DAW, the program music gets recorded and mixed in — and with ARIA, a voice assistant that actually does the work. Say what you want. The faders move.
v1.4.11 · Windows 10/11 64-bit · ~670 MB · 14-day money-back guarantee
ARIA — your engineer in the room
Stop clicking through menus. Start asking.
ARIA hears you through any mic, understands what you mean, and operates the studio for real — hundreds of commands covering recording, editing, mixing and routing.
She mixes. For real.
Ask for a mix and ARIA balances levels, shapes EQ, sets compression, sends and reverb per genre — then measures the result and adjusts until it hits target loudness. Every action is logged, and a full mix report is saved to your project.
"do an automatic hip-hop mix" → 331 documented actions later, it's done.
Shown tuning third-party plugins installed on that machine — sold separately. ARIA mixes with the built-in FX out of the box.
She answers. And teaches.
"How do I record?" "Is there pitch correction?" ARIA knows the whole manual and answers with exact steps — buttons, menus, voice commands. It's a studio engineer and a patient teacher in one, whether you type or talk.
"why is it silent?" → she checks all seven silence switches and offers the fix.
Not a toy — a workstation
A serious DAW underneath.
Everything you expect from a modern studio, built in. ARIA is the fastest way to drive it — the mouse still works.
Loop-record takes, audition them, comp the best parts — or let ARIA's Take Judge pick.
Surgical pitch editing on vocals: correct, scale-snap, quantize, glue — with A/B against the original.
Split any song into vocals, drums, bass and instruments — four stems, ready to remix.
Automatic vocal tuning with genre-appropriate strength, from transparent to tight.
An instant backing band: pick a groove and play along, seconds after opening the app.
EQ, compressor and a brickwall limiter included — a full automatic mix works with zero third-party plugins.
Hosts the VST3 plugins already on your machine; ARIA sees them and dials them in.
Render to target loudness with a full LUFS / true-peak report saved next to your file.
Piano roll, step sequencer, drum patterns, velocity and CC editing, MIDI learn for your controller.
One command checks your input, levels and monitoring — and tells you exactly what's wrong.
Measures your real round-trip latency and compensates recordings so takes land on the grid.
The FX are already inside.
Every channel ships with a 4-band parametric EQ, compressor, delay and reverb — the same processors ARIA drives during an automatic mix. No shopping list, no plugin folder to fill first.
And when you do own more: external VST3 inserts rack up right beside the built-ins.
External VST3 inserts listed in the rack are sold separately.
Third-party plugins shown belong to that studio and are sold separately — the console works the same with the built-in FX.
No new gear required
Runs on the studio you already have.
Session Bud was field-tested end-to-end — recording, full automatic mix, export — on a 12-year-old laptop and a 15-year-old USB audio interface. If your machine runs Windows 10, you're in.

Straight answers
Questions people actually ask.
Are Waves or other commercial plugins included?
No. Session Bud works with the VST plugins already installed on your computer, and ships with its own built-in EQ, compressor and limiter. A complete automatic mix works out of the box with zero third-party plugins.
Third-party plugins that appear in screenshots belong to that machine's owner and are sold separately by their vendors.
Do I need an OpenAI account for ARIA?
Yes. ARIA runs on your own OpenAI API key — you create one at platform.openai.com and paste it in once. It's pay-as-you-go, billed by OpenAI directly, and the numbers are small: a voice command costs a fraction of a cent, a spoken answer about a cent, a complete automatic mix a few dozen cents. A $5 top-up carries most people for weeks. One honest caveat: the OpenAI API isn't available in every country — check availability for yours before buying.
Don't worry about the setup: every purchase includes an installation guide that walks you through connecting the AI in a few simple steps — create the key, paste it in, done.
ARIA also keeps an exact usage meter on your machine — ask her "how much did you cost me today?" anytime. Everything else in the DAW works without the key.
How do I get the software after paying?
After purchase you get an email with your download link and personal license key. Enter the key on first launch — done. That email thread is also your direct support line to the developer.
Is there a trial version?
Not yet. Instead there's a 14-day money-back guarantee: if it's not for you, reply to your purchase email within 14 days and you get a full refund.
Can I talk to ARIA in my language?
Speak naturally — ARIA understands natural speech in many languages and always answers in clear English. All technical terms stay in English, so instructions always match what's on screen.
Can I move my license to a new computer?
Yes — a license runs on one machine at a time and can move to a new machine up to twice a year, right from the activation screen. No need to contact support.
What happens to my license if Session Bud shuts down?
Your studio keeps working. If Session Bud ever closes its doors, every sold license receives a free offline unlock — activation stops depending on our servers. You bought the software; it stays yours.
One honest boundary: that promise covers the DAW, which runs entirely on your machine. ARIA's cloud features run on OpenAI's API with your own key — if OpenAI ever changed or restricted access, ARIA's thinking features would be affected, while the studio itself keeps working forever.
Does it import projects from other DAWs?
Session Bud imports and exports standard interchange: WAV/MP3 audio, MIDI files, and stems. Drop your multitrack exports in and mix.
